Mercedes-Benz supports fashion events globally, lending its name to over 60 events in more than 30 countries.

Mercedes-Benz is proud principal partner of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia, which was held in Sydney from 13 to 17 May, followed by Mercedes-Benz Fashion Weekend Edition on 18 to 19 May. It was a hugely successful event.

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia provides designers with an international platform to showcase their collection to industry insiders from around the world, including buyers, retailers, celebrities, VIPs and members of the regional, national and international press.

Known as the premier event worldwide - style, beauty, supermodels and celebrities come together at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia where designers showcase their very latest Resort collections.

Camilla & Marc to headline Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia

Sydney’s famous fashion siblings, Camilla Freeman-Topper and Marc Freeman, aka Camilla & Marc, are set to kick off another bumper edition of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia in May.
Mercedes-Benz has been the principal partner of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia since its inception 23 years ago, and we continue to be a driving force behind the emergence of some of Australia’s most notable fashion designers.

Camilla & Marc is perhaps the best example of this support in action. In 2003, the brand announced itself with an eye-catching runway at Fashion Week. Now, 15 years later, the siblings return as the coveted “Mercedes-Benz Presents” designers, to kick off the week-long festival from May 13 to 17 at Sydney’s Carriageworks.

“We are thrilled to open Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia in 2018. It was our platform to launch the brand in 2003 and we have enjoyed many highlights together. It is exciting to reflect on 15 years and all the experiences we’ve had,” Camilla Freeman-Topper says.
Camilla & Marc have also just been named as a new Mercedes-Benz Friend of the Brand, another natural evolution, as Marc Freeman explains.

“Our father owned Mercedes-Benz cars when we were growing up, so partnering with this iconic brand brings back many happy family memories,” he says.

“Our key message of luxury and tailoring draws a link to the considered detail that goes into designing and manufacturing a Mercedes-Benz vehicle. With a commitment to supporting Australian fashion, we couldn’t think of a more perfect partnership.”

As Australia’s most prestigious fashion industry event, tickets are not available to the main MBFWA shows. However, consumers may purchase tickets to the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Weekend Edition on May 18-19, in an opportunity for the public to view new-season collections straight after industry guests.
